I grew up in New York City, the daughter of a proud yellow cab driver who loved showing off the best of the Big Apple. Our family road trips, often to places like Canada, Niagara Falls or Florida, turned into photo ops for curious tourists, thanks to our unmistakable NYC plates and the iconic golden yellow cab. But it was my first flight overseas, a visit to England at just nine years old, that lit a spark in me. That trip introduced me to the beauty of exploring cultures beyond my own and planted the seed for a lifetime of travel.

For 24 years, I served in the U.S. Air Force, living around the world and visiting destinations many only dream of. That time shaped me professionally and personally. It trained me to think ahead, plan with precision, and remain calm no matter what changes. But more than that, it deepened my hunger for authentic, immersive travel experiences. The kind that leave a mark long after you return home.
